A new way to get IT support

The IT Support Office in Fairhurst closes at 5pm on Friday 18 December. From Monday 21 December you'll be able to get help with IT at the Library Help Desk, until 4pm on Christmas Eve. We’ll re-open there at 9am on Monday 4 January.

From the start of term, the Library Help Desk in Morrell will become the Library & IT Help Desk. Bringing the two services together allows us to improve the service that we offer to you:

Longer hours

Basic IT support & diagnosis will now be available 9am - 7pm on weekdays, and 10am - 6pm at weekends. That’s an extra two hours on week days, and the first time that we’ve been able to offer regular IT support at weekends.

Appointments

If you need help with a more complex enquiry, we’ll have appointments available 9am - 5pm on weekdays. You can pick a time that suits you.

Still the same...

Not everything is changing. If you want to phone us, our phone number is still (01904 32) 3838, and you can still send email to itsupport@york.ac.uk. We’ll answer phone calls and reply to emails from 9am - 5pm on weekdays.
