Prestigious Grant for Former Student

Jiyi has been awarded a 5-year research grant from the National Research Foundation of Korea and will join the Humanities & Social Sciences Research Institute at KAIST in July. Her new project will explore the networks of inter- and post-war British art worlds and the mutual interactions between advertising design and modern art.
Jiyi completed her PhD thesis on "The Relationship between Art and the British Empire: The Palace of Arts at the Imperial Exhibitions" under the supervision of Professor Jason Edwards.
