Meet a Mate

This event is a great chance to meet someone in your department, or even on your course who shares the same college as you before you have your department specific induction activities later in the week or during the first week of teaching.

For you to meet the right people, please take the time to find which faculty your department is in. You can do this by visiting The University of York’s academic departments webpage.

There will be three sessions: 11:00 - 11:30 - Faculty of Arts and Humanities 11:45 - 12:15 - Faculty of Sciences 12:30 - 13:00 - Faculty of Social Sciences

For most departments there will also be a STYC (Second or Third year contact) who has already gone through the journey which you are embarking on as a new student at the University.

James College Welcome Talk
