New Sustainability Classroom Activities

The five activities in Sustainable Fuel: Electricity to Gas, tell the story of fuel cells replacing petrol and diesel in buses and lorries (with strong links made to the Y5-6 science curriculum). There are opportunities to find out about some of the people who work in the industry, and to make links to citizenship and PSHE, as children think about the impact of their actions and the growing prevalence of ‘green careers’ such as scientists who investigate ways to tackle issues around sustainability.
