COVID-19
The coronavirus pandemic has presented one of the biggest challenges of our time.
In response to the outbreak we have pursued three strategic aims:
- Monitoring the impact on human rights in York and at the international level, seeking to inform scholars, practitioners and policy-makers
- Supporting project collaborators to make changes in their delivery of legal services and legal advocacy on behalf of displaced persons
- Providing funding to support a collaborative project developed by activists and artists across the world responding to the outbreak of COVID-19 and its implications for human rights defenders, activists, and shrinking civic and political space
