Scoping study on therapy interventions for children with a neurodisability publishes findings

News

Posted on Wednesday 31 January 2018

This study describes the complexities of current therapy interventions for children with neurodisabiliities and identifies a wide-ranging research agenda.

A recent national stakeholder consultation on research priorities for children with neurodisabilities found that research into therapies such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy, and their impacts on children’s lives, was a top priority.

Findings from this scoping study will be used to inform future research into physical, occupational and speech and language therapy support used by children with neurodisabilities.
