IFAC MIM 2022 Commended paper

Management academics gain a commended paper at the 10th International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) conference on Manufacturing, Modelling, Management and Control (MIM).

Dr Ehsan Badakshan, a Postdoctoral Researcher in the University of York School for Business and Society, was the lead author on a commended paper at the 10th International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) conference on Manufacturing, Modelling, Management and Control (MIM), in Nantes.  Professor Peter Ball from the School was another contributing author.

The paper, 'Using Digital Twins for Inventory and Cash Management in Supply Chains', examines how machine learning and simulation can help decision makers in managing inventory and cash flows in the supply chain.

MIM 2022 involved over 750 participants from 71 different countries.  Ehsan's commended paper was one of 806 full submissions to the conference.
