Management School research cited in ground breaking assessment

The Economics of Biodiversity: The Dasgupta Review, commissioned by the UK Treasury, is the first time a national finance ministry has authorised a full assessment of the economic importance of nature. In line with the Management School's commitment to creating sustainable business, community and society and our active engagement with interdisciplinary research, work connected with the School is referenced in the review.

There are two references to publications from the IKnowFood project, led by Professor Bob Doherty, in section 15.3.3 'Supply chain policy development' and Professor Mark Freeman is a co-author of 'Discounting Disentangled' referenced in section 10.5 'Discounting in Arbitrary Futures'.
