Dame Janet Baker Masters Scholarship
This scholarship has been created thanks to the generosity of Dame Janet Baker for a UK Masters student specialising in performance. Priority is given to first study singers.
Open to UK (home) students only.
Open to students in the School of Arts and Creative Technologies.
You must be able to show that you have achieved or are projected to be awarded a minimum 2:1 classification of an undergraduate degree.
Application deadline: Sunday 2 June 2024, 11.59pm BST
Apply for this scholarship via our application form. You'll need to submit your personal details, your academic details and a personal statement of up to 400 words addressing the following:
- Why you have applied for the Dame Janet Baker Masters Scholarship
- Further information about why you have chosen to study the Master's course
- Information about your achievements to date
- Why you feel you should receive the Dame Janet Baker Masters Scholarship award.
Your academic supervisor will be prompted to complete their section of the application after you have submitted your section.
The ACT Scholarships Committee will make a decision based on your application, including your personal statement and your supervisor's statement.
