At this EDI Reading Group, the topic will be AI and EDI and is aimed to invite discussion (and quite possibly a debate) on the use of AI in Higher Education, specifically the potential EDI-related concerns around this. As before, we welcome the attendance and contributions of everyone in the School (UG and PG students, professional support staff, and teaching and research staff).
As prep we ask you to read this article by Indira Boutier on the relationship between efforts to decolonize the curriculum and the homogenizing tendencies of generative AI.
