Syncretism Events present: ASCENSION
ASCENSION is a live immersive music and aerial performance with stunning visuals, projections, and lighting effects. The event uses innovative performance techniques following Maria throughout her life exploring the impact of technology, on her identity and humanity.
From the creators and performers of the Festival of Ideas events ‘Venus Rise’ and ‘Echoes of the Moon’, the concert is a creative collaboration from staff and students of the University of York, CoStar Live Lab and York Circus. The event will feature spectacular aerial performances from UK-based aerial dance group York Circus. Music from Ben Eyes, Faye Robinson and Paul Ryan and stunning lighting and visuals from Roberto del Pino. Presented in the School of Arts and Creative Technologies TFTI building, Black Box theatre space.
Dates: Friday 25th and Saturday 26th September 7 - 9:30 PM.
