Tribute to Don Henson

It is with great sadness that we announce that Dr Don Henson, our respected and much loved friend and colleague, has passed away following a short illness.

Don joined the Department of Archaeology in 2014, and made a huge impression on the lives of staff and students in the department. He will be very sadly missed. Please visit our departmental remembrance page to read more about Don and his wonderful contribution to York, and archaeology as a whole.
