Eleanor Green Wins Award from Linnean Society at Natural History Museum student conference

The funding will support the development of a school workshop: Viking Dinners

York PhD student Eleanor Green was awarded a public engagement award from the Linnean Society to develop a school workshop, Viking Dinners. She will be working with primary school children to introduce them to archaeology, coprolites and DNA.

She will develop these materials as part of an ongoing public outreach project in conjunction with her PhD, "Unlocking the genetic potential of museum stores."
