Student Sustainability Awards

Celebrating students leading the way in climate action and environmental sustainability across campus and the City.

The University of York and York Students’ Union have launched the Student Sustainability Awards.

The first awards ceremony took place in June 2026 as part of the University's Green Impact Awards. The awards recognise students who are helping to achieve our sustainability vision through their work both on campus and across the City of York.

Through research, community action and creative projects, these students are making a real difference. The awards celebrate and showcase the inspiring work of students creating positive change.
