Student Sustainability Awards

Celebrating students leading the way in climate action and environmental sustainability across campus and the City.

The University of York and York Students’ Union are excited to launch the Student Sustainability Awards 2026.

These awards celebrate the students who are contributing to our vision through their work on sustainability - on campus and across the City of York.

Do you know a student (or group) who is taking action on climate change, sustainability or environmental justice? This is your chance to recognise their impact.

Why nominate?

The Student Sustainability Awards highlight the creativity, commitment and leadership of students who are helping shape a more sustainable future.

Whether through research, community action or creative projects, we want to celebrate the amazing students making change happen.
