Work experience is an important part of getting into any career. If you're looking to stand out from the crowd and gain sustainability-specific work experience, our internships, placements and conference opportunities might be for you.
A placement may be an assessed part of your degree programme, whereas an internship isn’t usually a graded part of your studies.
Keep an eye on this web page for upcoming opportunities.
Student volunteers needed!
Join us for a hands-on session about the history of air pollution control
York Explore Library and Archives, 10am - 1pm, 18 February
We are looking for students to participate in a session that will examine materials related to the 1956 Clean Air Act (newspapers, pamphlets, films, etc.) to see what lessons they offer. The results of the session will be used to build a larger project for which we hope to get funding.
Why participate? This will be fun and interesting session, and you will have the chance to contribute to an exciting and important project (we will keep you updated about the bigger project after the session). Lunch, refreshments and travel costs are included.
No prior experience or knowledge needed. Sign up by 7 February.
