Visiting students

The University of York is one of Britain’s most highly regarded universities, with a national and international reputation for quality in teaching and research.

Our Visiting Student Programme offers students studying at other universities the opportunity of a period of full-time supervised study, during which they are fully integrated into the academic and social life of the university.

Among the opportunities offered at the University of York for Norwegian students is the Norwegian Study Centre.  This is the only permanent study centre based in the United Kingdom for students from Norwegian universities and colleges and teachers of English in Norway.

The University of York has been selected as one of the UK universities participating in the Brazilian Science without Borders Scheme. For more information on the Departments taking part please take a look at our Science without Borders webpage.
