Welcome back to York! It’s been a busy summer here on campus, so we’ve rounded up a quick start of some key changes you’ll need to be aware of for the new academic year.

11 September 2026

We have reviewed how parcels and mail are delivered across campus. From 14 September 2026, there will be a change to the location on Campus West where student parcels and mail will be delivered and processed.

10 September 2026

From Sunday 13 September 2026, all University bus services operated by First York will return to their regular semester timetable.

9 September 2026

Welcome, or welcome back, to the University of York. The IT support team are here to help you with any IT related questions or problems during your time at the University.

7 September 2026

The network certificate will be renewed on Thursday 10 September, between 7.30am and 8am. Find out what actions you may need to take to reconnect your device to the network.
