Charlie Jeffery stepping down as York’s Vice-Chancellor

The University’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Charlie Jeffery, has announced that he is stepping down and leaving York. A new Vice-Chancellor will now be recruited.

Changes to overnight support on campus

5 June 2026

The way you receive support on campus overnight is changing. From Saturday 13 June 2026, if you need help on campus overnight, instead of going to a reception, staff will now come to you.
