Winter safety

The frozen lake looks beautiful but is far more dangerous than it might first appear. You must not under any circumstances attempt to walk or step on the ice.

Though it might appear solid, the ice is very thin and may break without warning. Do not put yourself at risk, or expect others to put themselves in danger to try and help you. If you see someone attempting to walk on the ice, please contact Campus Safety immediately.
