Free tickets for public lectures
Every term, the University organises free public lectures on a wide variety of topics and aimed at a general audience. Some of these lectures require a ticket for admission, and you can register for those lectures via the links below. When a ticket is needed for a lecture, this is indicated in the publicity for the event.

- 28 May - It's about time: Is it real? How do we measure it? Time travel?
- 29 May - Medieval murders: Blood libel narratives of the Middle Ages
- 11 June - The battle of the lunatic asylums in eighteenth-century York
- 12 June - A talk by astronomer Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock MBE
