The Rise and Fall of Great Companies
Sir Geoffrey Owen delivered the paper ‘The Rise and Fall of Great Companies – Courtaulds and the Reshaping of the Man-Made Fibres Industry’ at TYMS on Thursday, 20 October. Sir Geoffrey has a long and distinguished career in journalism (he was a former editor of the Financial Times), and is currently a Senior Research Fellow in Management at the LSE. Martin Vander weyer, Business Editor of the Spectator was also present.
