Doodle
Doodle is a scheduling tool which can be used to help you organise meetings. It's an externally hosted service, and there is a University branded version of Doodle available for all members of the University to use:
Why should I use the University version of Doodle?
It looks more professional to use a tool with University branding.
Adverts appearing on Doodle
Since a recent upgrade implemented by Doodle, some users are seeing adverts appearing when they are creating polls with the University version of Doodle. To prevent this happening, you need to make a change to your account settings:
- Log in to Doodle
- Click on the Manage Account link at the top right
- Click on MyDoodle Account
- Select the drop-down list headed Premium Doodle, and ensure that University of York is selected
Are there any restrictions?
Any member of the University can use our version of Doodle. You'll need to set up an account on first use, using a University email address (eg name@york.ac.uk or username@york.ac.uk).
