Event: Innovation in Education (December 2012)

The IEE’s Bette Chambers addressed the question: “How can education leaders help deliver change and close the inequality gap in education?” in a keynote speech for The Guardian’s Innovation in Education event on 6 December.

The event, which aimed to bring together around 200 senior education leaders for an "interactive and inspirational day", addressed the impact of the major reforms taking place across the schools sector and provided solutions to the challenges faced by school leaders.
