This is a nationwide day dedicated to recognising networks groups and the incredible value they add to the workplace. The purpose of the day is to highlight the benefits that networks groups offer to both staff and their organisations.

Networks are all about people; they are about progressive change; they are all about supporting the employee journey and inspiring a feeling of belonging.

The theme for 2024 is #RaisingTheBar.

Staff Race Equality Forum

The Staff Race Equality Forum (SREF) provides a voice and opportunities for peer networking, support and development among Black, Asian and minority ethnic staff. SREF periodically holds listening exercises from which it formulates an action plan that directly reflects the needs of its Members and promotes University values around inclusiveness and public good.
