Postgraduate Open days and events

Find your fit. Join us at a postgraduate event to learn what York has to offer you.

Choosing where to study for your postgraduate qualification is a big decision. To help you decide whether York is for you, we recommend that you come and meet us.

Our staff and students will be happy to talk to you about postgraduate life at York, and to answer any questions you may have. You can join us at an online event, meet us on campus or at a study fair near you.

Considering a PhD

7 May 2026, 12.30pm to 2pm, online

The Equity in Postgraduate Study project is running an online session where current PhD students from EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) backgrounds will be giving practical advice on pursuing PhD study, with the support of Dr Karisha George (Psychology and the York EDI Research Centre), Careers and Placement staff members, and Dr Tom Murray (PG Recruitment Team).

This is a free event, but registration in advance is encouraged.
