Communicating with current students

The Internal Communications team produces campaigns aimed at a broad range of students over the academic year.

Find out how we communicate information and updates to our students, and how you can link these to your own communications, in addition to departmental communication channels. Resources are also available for use in your own student communication channels.

Throughout the year, we advertise important events for students, eg Roses, Neurodiversity week and much more. It's helpful to check our calendar to see when we're available to support you.

UoY Student Comms Network

Direct email

Our Things to know this week newsletter goes out to undergraduate and campus-based taught postgraduate students on Mondays during semester time.

We also produce the monthly York Graduate Research School newsletter for all postgraduate researchers. 

Student homepage

The student homepage helps students find the tools, services and information they need while studying at York. The news and events feeds promote upcoming events, significant campaigns and important central updates.

MyUoY app

We highlight news and events through the MyUoY app.

Digital signage

The digital screens displayed around campus are used to promote messages relevant to the whole campus community. Find out more about digital signage.
