We embrace all work falling under the headings of comparative, global and international social policy, with particular specialisms in the areas of:
- comparative political economy of welfare
- global social policy analysis
- cross-national comparisons of state welfare structures and welfare outcomes
- techniques for cross-national and trans-national policy research.
Our research projects have been supported by a wide range of funders including The British Academy, the Economic and Social Research Council, the European Union, Oxfam and UNICEF.
