CS Co-labs discussion session 4
Event details
Join us for the fourth session in our CS Co-labs discussion series. We will explore our use of digital tools in different parts of citizen science projects, and then facilitate a discussion inviting participants’ views, experiences and questions.
We will share our reflections on:
- use of digital tools for more than data collection,
- selecting platforms and applications, including off-the-shelf vs bespoke options
- using digital platforms to combine knowledges (local + professional) and collaborate on ideation, and
- digital accessibility.
The session will be online only, via Zoom. Slides will be made available and a short summary shared after the session. The session will not be recorded., This is so that the discussion sessions can be a safe space to ask questions and share challenges.
Also for the purposes of data protection, we request that AI-based note-taking software is only used if needed for accessibility, not simply for convenience. If you do need to use it, please do not share the output with anyone else, including other participants in the session.
This event is open to University of York staff and research students and those outside the university community.
