We make it easier for researchers and members of the public to work together. We do this by connecting researchers with the public to improve the reach, relevance, quality and impact of our research.
We also want to make research, the research process and our research culture more open and accessible to all members of the public.
Payment rates for public involvement in research increase
From Tuesday 16 December, the National Institute of Health and Social Care Research (NIHR) involvement pay rate has increased by 10%. The new rates can be found on the NIHR web pages.
The University will be increasing its suggested rates for payment for involvement in line with the NIHR and in accordance with good practice in this area.
