Congratulations to Dr Jacob Eriksson, who has his essay published on The Project on Middle East Political Science, POMEPS, "Iraq: Between a Rock and a Hard Place" as part of a collection of essays initially presented at a joint SEPAD-POMEPS workshop on Sectarianism and International Relations held at Chatham House in February 2020. The authors were asked to reflect on the ways in which geopolitical tensions between Saudi Arabia, Iran, the United States – and others – shape conflict and societal tensions across the Middle East and beyond.
