In the last few years, the United States has stepped up its controversial and secretive campaign of drone attacks in Pakistan, Yemen, and Somalia. To many people, drone warfare opens up a new world that is more frightening than brave - and as more states invest in drones, scrutinizing the US case seems particularly important. This talk will examine the morality of drones from the standpoint of just war theory and their legality under international law.
