The Department of Archaeology and the Society of Antiquaries welcome everyone to our very first Summer Lecture, part of the new biannual public lecture series showcasing the exciting research projects that take place at the Department of Archaeology. We are very honoured to have as our first speaker Professor Maureen Carroll, sharing the results of her Leverhulme-funded project Weaving the Identities of Women and Warriors: Dress and Identity in southern Italy in the 4th century BC.
