History of Art Research Seminar

Caroline Fowler is the Starr Director of the Research and Academic Program at the Clark Art Institute. Caroline will host this research seminar giving a talk on 'Drawing as Discipline'.

About the speaker

Caroline Fowler's books include Slavery and the Invention of Dutch Art (Duke University Press, 2025), The Art of Paper: From the Holy Land to the Americas (Yale University Press, 2020), and Drawing and the Senses: An Early Modern History (Harvey Miller Series in Baroque Art, 2018).
