Clinical neuropsychologist Kalliopi Megari from CITY College, University of York Europe Campus provides intriguing insights into the dynamic relationship and strong connection between the heart and the brain, showing how lifestyle interventions can help fight cardiovascular and neurological diseases.

About the speaker

Kalliopi Megari is a lecturer and Academic Director of the postgraduate program in Clinical Psychology at CITY College, University of York Europe Campus, and a Postdoctoral researcher at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is also adjunct lecturer at University of Western Macedonia in Florina. She holds undergraduate degrees in Nursing and Psychology, as well as a Masters and a PhD in Neuropsychology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Currently, she is a Global Membership Committee member of International Neuropsychological Society and leader of Rehabilitation of COVID-19 patients working group of NeuroCOVID International Neuropsychology Taskforce SIG. Her work has earned her many prestigious international awards.
