Mental health across the lifespan

We study mental health across key life stages, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood and into older age, to understand how developmental changes shape the onset and course of mental ill health.

Our research draws on a diverse range of approaches, including birth cohort studies, clinical trials and qualitative interviews, to map inequalities and trajectories across the life course.
