Professor Osvaldo Almeida is a distinguished visitor from the University of Western Australia and a long-time University of York collaborator. York researchers have worked with him over a number of years and across several trials. He shares our interest in public mental health and the mental health of older people. He is one of the world's foremost authorities and is an excellent speaker. Prof Almeida will give an overview of his work in Brazil and Australia, including his trials during COVID.
