Event details

Have you seen a Virtual Reality experience or a 360° video and wondered where you start? Interested in looking at new creative and immersive technologies, learning some new digital skills and how it could help a project?

In this introductory session, the Library’s new Creativity Lab will be hosting a brief talk in the Berrick Saul building to showcase some exciting technologies for Digital Creativity like VR, 360° filmmaking and 3D modelling, as a few examples.

No previous experience is required, this is just a chance to see some fun examples.

After the talk, you are invited to head over to the Creativity lab in the Library buildings, to see some of the kit in action and get hands-on by having a play with a range of these exciting technologies.

It will include some ideas for getting started with using Digital Creativity in a project you’re working on, along with details on further workshops and support.
