Management of the Centre's activities

Acting under the guidance and leadership of the Director and Deputy Director, Philip is tasked with implementing the goals and objectives of the Centre following the recommendations of the Steering Group. This includes coordinating the administration of the Centre's funding activities, managing and advising on the budget and reporting on progress.

Communications

He plays a lead role, alongside the Director and Deputy Director, in developing engagement with the Centre both internally and externally and is the first port of call for all enquiries about the work of the Centre.

Public Engagement

Support for public engagement forms a major part of Philip's responsibilies. He works with colleagues across the University to enhance public engagement in the area of health; building relationships with external partners in the health, cultural and third sectors and supporting the development of new funding applications from inception to submission.
