On 12th and 13th of Sept 2016, the first of a hopefully long series of successful Workshops on Labour and Family Economics (WOLFE) took place at the University of York. The topics of the presentations included child’s human capital, childcare, education, health inequalities and peer effects. What made the workshop a success was the presenters’ outstanding contributions, the vibrant discussion and engagement by all participants, and the involvement of PhD students, researchers and professors alike.
