The Humble Economist by Tony Culyer

The Humble Economist collects together some of the writings of Professor Tony Culyer, who helped set up the UK National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE).

Tony Culyer has worked at the University of York since 1969, and has played a key role in developing the health research infrastructure at York. Tony is the subject of a new publication, The Humble Economist.

The book comprises a number of short essays, selected and revised by Tony Culyer himself, together with an introduction by the editors, his University of York colleagues Richard Cookson and Karl Claxton.
