The Economics Society is proud to be hosting a talk for Dr Ha-Joon Chang on the topic of Deindustrialisation.

This will include a discussion on "The myth of post-industrial knowledge economy" followed by a 30-minute Q&A session.

Dr Chang is an institutional economist specialising in development economics, who is currently lecturing at the University of Cambridge. He is the author of several widely discussed policy books and has served as a consultant to the World Bank. In 2013 Prospect magazine ranked Dr Chang as one of the top 20 World Thinkers  Further details about Dr Ha-Joon Chang and his work can be found here.
