Shameer shares his excitement of the competition,

“We are looking forward to the competition and ultimately welcoming the winner of the Spread Co Ultimate Uni Trader Competition 2014 to join us in our London office.

You’ll be experiencing life on the dealing desk; trading around the clock and join the marketing and sales teams over the course of three months.

With hands-on experience within these areas, you'll benefit from an in-depth knowledge on how each team works and their individual importance within the fast-paced world of professional trading.

So, why not take this opportunity to experience the ins and out of the industry before you enter the world of trading?”

Applicants have until 23rd October to enter. Once chosen, over the course of a week, each contestant will trade with £25,000 of virtual money using Spread Co's online trading software. The student who makes the most virtual money will be named Spread Co Ultimate Uni Trader 2014. The intern will gain insight a successful and innovative multi-national company, as well as spread-betting, CFD trading and the financial industry as a whole. This experience will be invaluable for economics students and will be a great reflection of the quality of British universities' Economics programmes.
