Three new colleagues join the department

We welcome three new members of staff who will start teaching at York in the new academic year.
Subhasish Dey joins the department as an Associate Lecturer and is an applied microeconomist working in the field of development economics and political economy concentrating on the impact and political economy of implementation of social protection programmes in global South. He has a doctorate from the University of Manchester. Subhasish will teach microeconomics and microeconometrics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Adnan Isin joins the department as an Associate Lecturer and has a PhD in Finance from the University of Exeter. Before joining York, he Associate Research Fellow at the University of Exeter.
Mathilde Peron joins the department as a Lecturer and
did her PhD in Paris Dauphine University. Her research focuses on health insurance, especially the impact of supplementary health insurance on health care consumption, medical prices and selection. She has been in York for a year now. Before joining the department, she wasworking in the Centre for Health Economics as a Research fellow mainly on Health Technology Assessments for NICE. Mathilde will mainly teach health economics to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
