Arrivals day

1. Getting here

Find detailed travel information on the maps, directions and parking web pages.

Car travel

On arrival you should park in the Catalyst Car Park on Campus East. Please leave your belongings in your car until you’ve collected your university keycard and have been greeted by your College Team.

2. Collect your key and meet the team.

When you arrive at Anne Lister, you’ll be welcomed by the College Team and other volunteers. They’ll direct you where to go. Don't be afraid to ask them for help!

After meeting the College Team you can pick up your keycard and be directed to your room. Please remember to bring a form of photo ID.

If you’ve booked an arrival time after 5pm, you should collect your keycard from the reception in the Ron Cooke Hub.

3. Move into your room

Once you have your key card, it’s time to find your room and begin moving in.

Your College Team will be around all day to help with any questions or problems you may have.

4. Say hi to your flatmates

Once you’re familiar with your new surroundings and have unpacked your belongings, why not say hi to your flatmates? Your kitchen is usually a good place to do so.

The College Team will be in touch soon, to let you know about the weeks ahead.

Keeping up to date

As the start of term nears, we’ll email you helpful information and advice on how to prepare. Emails will be sent to your University of York email account. Find any that you may have missed below.
