Samantha Holmes spoke to the Research Room at the University of York - a podcast about the science that's shaping future health.
She shared her involvement in the BCC research programme, in particular her research into the reality of war's impacts on mental wellbeing and preliminary research findings, including the anticipatory nature of mental harm and its concurrent relationship to other conflict harms. She also shared some emerging strategies for preventing and responding to mental harm, including--but crucially also beyond--international legal compliance.
