Rachael Maskell MP visits CAHR

On Friday 3 March, York MP, Rachael Maskell visited CAHR and joined staff and current human rights defenders for lunch.
Rachael was keen to learn more about the work of the Centre and took time to listen to the challenges facing the current fellows in their respective countries of work.
As a long term supporter of human rights defenders and the work of CAHR, she offered her assistance to arrange future advocacy meetings with politicians in London and her help with visa applications where possible. We are lucky to have such a supportive MP.
