Monica Mayer is a feminist Mexican artist, activist and art critic whose work includes performance, digital graphics, drawing, photography, and art theory.
Please join us for this event in which Monica will discuss her role as a founding member of the Movimento Feminista Mexicano, her remarkable global piece, ‘El Tendedero/The Clothesline Project (1978)’ and her founding of ‘Polvo de Gallina Negra’ in 1983, the first feminist art collective in Mexico.
