Children, Young People and Families

A long-standing focal point for our work, key strengths of the theme include: child maintenance, child poverty, child wellbeing, child neglect, looked-after-children and youth transitions. Our work on child wellbeing has broken new ground by focusing on children's own assessment of their wellbeing. 

Key funders for theme activity have included: NORFACE Jacobs Foundation, UNICEF, ESRC, Department of Education, and Australian Research Council.
