Event details

The School’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Committee are pleased to invite you to our next EDI Forum. In this SBS EDI Forum, we will focus on autism to mark Autism Awareness Month this April.

This time, as April is Autism Awareness Month, we are focusing on Autism, what it is, and what it's like to be Autistic. Since being diagnosed in late 2024, the world of neurodiversity has become a keen interest of mine, so I'll be giving a short presentation on my own experiences and knowledge. Our SBS Wellbeing Officer, Leonie, will also be speaking about what you can do to support friends, colleagues and students. We'd like to encourage an open, honest discussion, so come prepared with questions! Light refreshments will be provided.

The event will also be running online via Zoom for anyone not on campus. We'd love to see you there!

Please kindly note that we will be taking some photos at the event, for marketing purposes. Please let Anna know should you not wish to be included, either via email or at the event itself. Further information about the University’s processes for capturing photography and video can be found here.
