We work closely with local, national and international partners from industry, government and charitable organisations, to build on our scientific discoveries and deliver socio-economic impact.

Industrial partners come from a variety of sectors and range from small manufacturing enterprises through to large corporations at a local to international level. We are committed to developing innovative biological processes for the agricultural, energy, food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries to drive economic growth and a sustainable bioeconomy.

Collaborations include joint research grants (eg BBRSC, Innovate UK), Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, contract research and collaborative PhD/MRes projects.
