Editorial Policy

In terms of both editing and performance, York Early Music Press brings the latest scholarship to its publications.

All editions include full prefatory information: editorial method and commentary as well as relevant performing information (scoring, original forces, pitch, context). Composer biographies are included. Translations are also provided and may be used with appropriate acknowledgement.
